The Preaching of John the Baptist

This Sunday's bible scriptures are taken from the following :

*Isaiah 11:1-10
*Romans 15:4-13
*Matthew 3:1-12
*Psalm 72:1-7,18-19

You can read other bible scriptures on your own but we will go through the scripture taken from the Gospel of Matthew 3:1-12. This particular scripture explains the preaching of John the Baptist at desert of Judea.

The key words and phrases in the bible readings are:
 - Turn away from yours sins.
- Kingdom of Heaven is near.
-prepare rod for the Lord and make straight path for him to travel.
- people of Judea confessed their sins and baptised.
- Pharisees and Sadducees came to John the Baptist to be baptized but John said to them, you snakes!, who told you that you could escape from the punishment God is about to send?
-  Trees that does not bear good fruit will be cut and thrown in fire.
- I baptise you with water to show that you have repented, but the one who will come after me will baptise you with Holy Spirit and fire. he is much greater than I am. He was referring to Jesus Christ.

From the key points picked up above our discussion, we can see that John the Baptist was preaching the word of God to the people to repent and be baptised and people from all over Judea came to be baptised. He baptised other people but why he refused the Pharisees and Sadducees?
The difference is that the rest of the people who came have turned away from sins and confessed their sins and they were baptised. But the Sadducees and Pharisees did not move away from  their sins and they did not confess their sins.

How can we receive the Kingdom of Heaven which is near?
There are few things John the Baptist showed us here. He said;
* turn away from your sins - how? We have to stop doing things we love to do which are not correct in the eyes of the Lord.
* Confession of Sins - we have to confess our sins and ask for forgiveness. we must confess our sins every time because we are sinner at all times.
* This will show that we repent from our wrong doings.

By doing the above things, The Holy Spirit who is in us will make us to be renewed in spirit and by the Grace of our Lord God we will receive the Kingdom of Heaven which is coming near.

The Lord bless this word in your hearts now and forever by the power of the Holy Spirit.

No One Knows the Day and Hour

Today's bible readings are taken from the following scriptures:

Isaiah 2:1-5
Romans 13:11-14
Matthew 24:36-44
Psalm 122

You can read the other bible scriptures by yourself but we will go through together the Gospel of Matthew chapter 24 verses 36 to 44 for our discussion.

In this particular scripture, it is a continuation of the teachings Jesus taught his disciples about the coming of the Son of Man. It is also sounds like a warning. He said, no one knows when that day and hour will come, neither the angels nor the Son, Father alone knows. The coming of Son of Man will be like what happened in the time of Noah. in the days before the flood people ate and drank, men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat, yet they did not realized what was happening until the flood came and swept them all away.That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes.

At the time two men will be working in a field, one will be taken away and the other will be left behind. two women will be at a mill grinding meal, one will be taken away, the other will be left behind.

Watch out , then, because you do not know what day your Lord will come. if the owner of the house knew the time when the thief would come, you can be sure that he would stay awake and not let the thief break into his house. So then you also must always be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting him.

Bible Discussion

In this Gospel of Matthew teaches us and strengthen us to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ in the Heavenly Clouds of Glory and the Trumpet of the Lord Shall Sound and time shall be no more.

No one knows the coming of the SOn of Man, even the Angels in Heaven and Son of Man do not know the day and the hour. Jesus wants us to be prepared at all times.
Jesus also warned us that do not be fooled by false prophets. Do not be fooled by rumours of happenings. Do not be fooled by miracles by men on earth. Always have faith in Christ Jesus.

Jesus will come at at hour when we are not expecting. He will come at anytime as the scripture says. So how can we be ready for that?
In order for us to be ready, we have to have faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, confess our sins everyday, ask for Lord's Loving kindness and mercy and always longing to see His face one day.

Only then, by the Grace of our Lord and Saviour alone can save us.

Peace be with you.

Amen

Jesus Is Crucified

This Sunday's bible readings are take from the following :

Jeremiah 23: 1-6
Colossians 1:11-20
Luke 23:33-43
Psalm 46

You can read other bible scriptures at your own time. We will go through together the bible scripture from the Gospel of Luke chapter 23 verses 33 to 43.

The Gospel of Luke 23:33-43 talks about the events took place prior to his final death. Jesus was crucified at the place they called 'The Skull', with two criminals. One on his right and the other on his left. Jesus said, "Forgive them, Father! They don't know what they are doing."

They divided his clothes among themselves by throwing dice. the people stood there watching while Jewish leaders made fun of him:"He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Messiah whom God has chosen!" The soldiers also made fun of him: they came up to him and offered him cheap wine and said,"Save yourself if you are the king of the Jews!"

Above him were written these words: "This is the King of Jews."
One of the criminals hanging there hurled insults at him : "Aren't you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!" The other one rebuked him saying, "Don't you fear God? You received the same sentence he did. Ours however, is only right, because we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but he has done no wrong." and said to Jesus, "Remember me, Jesus, when you come as King!"
Jesus said to him, "I promise you that today you will be in Paradise with me."

Bible Discussion
In this bible reading we can pick up few points for our discussion. some of the key words and phrases are highlight in bold. The key words in this scripture amongst others are:

* Forgiveness
* Confession
*Deliverance
* King
*Messiah

The above key words are directly related to Jesus Christ.
Forgiving a person is actually a painful thing ever a human can do despite all the down hearted feelings. Jesus asked God to forgive those who crucified him right at the spot of suffering. Even though he was suffered and endured pain. He showed us to follow this example to forgive others.

The Jewish leaders and the soldiers publicly Declared that Jesus is the Kings of Jews and the Messiah chosen by God even though they crucified him and made fun of him. In the scripture reading the Jewish leaders mad fun of him and said if he is the Messiah let him save himself.   The soldiers also mad fun of him and said save yourself if you are the King of Jews.

One of the criminals also doubtfully asked Jesus are you the Messiah, save yourself and save us. All these words spoken by the characters in this scene have Declared the publicly that Jesus is the King and the Messiah.

In Luke 23 verses 41 to 43 it is talking about the confession of sins and requisition of forgiveness or deliverance from sin. Now we look at the man who was crucified on the right hand side of Jesus rebuked the other criminal and said, we deserve this sentence because of what we did but Jesus did no wrong. And he said to Jesus, "Remember me Jesus, when you come as a King!" and Jesus said to him, "I promise you that today you will be in Paradise with me." The man crucified on the right side of Jesus confessed and declared himself as a sinner and not worthy and further requested for forgiveness from Jesus and said, Jesus remember me when you come as a King. He also declared that Jesus will come again as a King.  And at that moment, this man was delivered from sin when jesus said to him, "I promise you that today you will be in Paradise with me." Jesus did not say when he come back he will remember him. or Jesus did not say I will remember you tomorrow or any other days in the future but he said TODAY you will be in Paradise with me.

Now what made this criminal qualified at the last minute of his death to be in Paradise with Jesus? The simple answer is , he confessed can declared himself as a sinner and then asked Jesus to remember him, in other words he asked for mercy. Because was just right beside him, he got delivered right away. what  a great and joyous moment for this guy.

So fellow Christian friends, we have a duty to  forgive others even though it's very painful in our hearts of any circumstances. We need to practice forgiveness and we will be forgiven as well as well. We have a duty to confess our sins and ask for Gods Grace and Mercy and forgiveness through prayer and Holy songs and Jesus Christ who is right beside us who is ready to forgive and deliver us from sins and when he promise us and say 'Today you will be in Paradise with me '. What a joy shall feel our hearts.

Amen

Jesus Speaks of the Destruction of the Temple

This Sunday the scriptures are take from from the following :
Malachi 4:1-2a
2 Thessalonians 3:6-12
Luke 21:5-19
Psalm 98

You can ready the other bible readings by yourself(ves) but we will go through together the Gospel reading of Luke 21:5-19. This scripture talks about the Signs of End of this Age.

Some disciples were talking about how beautiful Temple it was with its fines stones and the gifts from God. And Jesus said to them , "all these you see - a time will come when not a single one will be left in place, everyone will be thrown down."

Troubles and Persecution.

Then they asked, "Teacher, when will this be? and what will happen in order to show that the time has come for it to take place."

Jesus said, " watch out, don't be fooled. many men will come and say 'I am he' and' The time has come!' but don't follow them. don't be afraid when you hear of wars and revolutions; such things must happen first, but that do not mean the end is near."

Countries will fight each other; Kingdoms will attack one another. There will be terrible earthquakes, famines, and plagues everywhere, there will be strange and terrifying things coming from the sky. Before all these things take place, you will be arrested and persecuted, you will be handed over to be tried in synagogues and be put in prison, you will be brought before kings and rulers for my sake.
 This will be the chance to tell the Good News. Make up your minds ahead of time not to worry about how you will defend yourselves, because i will give you such words and wisdom that non of your enemies will refute or contradict what you say. you will be handed over by your parents, your brothers, your relatives and your friends, and some of you will be pout to death. everyone will hate you because of me. but not a single hair from your heads will be lost. Stand firm,and you will be save yourselves.

Bible Discussion
Jesus talks about the signs of end of the age or last days. When Jesus talked about many men will come in my name to fool you. There could be different churches calling Jesus' name but their intentions and faith is not centered on Jesus Christ our King and Saviour.  You would see strange things or way of worship will be diverted and people will be driven by excitements that is out of context in worshipping our LORD. The other thing he referred to the destruction of the temple is that, the materials of this world will one day be destroyed including our body. So we don't have to think too much about materials of this world.

We must stay focus and hold firm our faith in Jesus Christ and do not be worried or afraid of whats going on or whats going to happen. Jesus said that He will guide us through during our trouble times. So in times of happy, in times of sorrow, in times of sadness and depression, we have to stand firm with faith in Christ and we will be saved indeed.

Peace Be with you.

Amen.

The Question about Rising from Death

This Sunday's Scriptures  are taken from the the following bible verses:

Job 19:23-27
2 Thessalonians 2;1-5,13-17
Luke 20;27-38
Psalm 17;1-9

Please read the other scriptures yourself(ves) but we will go through together the gospel of Luke 20:27-38. In this portion of the gospel it talks about rising from death which the Sadducees asked Jesus and he answered the questions  and they asked no more.

Some Sadducees who say that people will not rise from death, came to Jesus and said, "Teacher, Moses wrote this law for us: 'If a man dies and leave a wife but no children, that man's brother must marry the widow so that they have children who will be considered as the dead man's children. Once there were seven brothers. The oldest got married and died without having children. Then the second one married the woman and then the third and the same thing happened to all seven. They died without having children. Then the last of all woman died. now, on the day when the dead rise to life, whose wife will she be? All seven of them have married her."

Jesus answered them, " The men and women of this age marry, but the men and women who are worthy to rise from death and live in the age to come will not then marry. They will be like angels and cannot die. They are the children of God, because they have risen from death. And Moses clearly proves that the dead are raised to life. In the passage about the burning bush he speaks of the Lord 'the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' He is the god of living, not of the dead, for to him all are alive."

Bible Discussion

In the Gospel of Luke Chapter 20 verses 27 to 38 teaches us that the dead will rise to life. No doubt those who are worthy to rise from dead will live in an age to come. They will not die and live forever like angels. In today's day and age, men and women marry and have family but when we die and are worthy to rise from dead then we live in a new age and be like angels.

Now, can we ask ourselves, Am I worthy to rise from the dead? What are the criterias to be worthy to rise from dead. All human beings are for sure are borned and die. After death, there is another life to live forever. In order to live, we have to rise from the dead and for us to rise from dead we have to be worth it or worthy to rise or we have to be qualified to rise from the dead.

How can we qualify to be raised from the dead. There is nothing we can be sure of doing something to be qualified to rise from the dead. The only way we have to do is have faith in Jesus Christ our King and Saviour and know that the God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Jacob is the living God. Only the Grace of our Sovereign God will save us and rais us from the dead at his on timing and we live like angels in the new age forever and ever. Amen.

The Lord Bless you and keep you.
The Lord Bless you and make his face shine upon you.
The Lord be with you now and forever.
Amen.

Jesus and Zacchaeus

his Sunday scriptures are taken from the following bible verses:
* Isaiah 1:10-18;
*2 Tesalonika 1:1-4,11-12
*Luke 19:1-10
*Psalm 32:1-7

The other scriptures you can read by yourself. But we will go through together the Gospel reading from the Gospel Luke chapter 19:1-10.

The bible reading from the gospel Luke Chapter 19 verses 1 to 10 talks about Jesus meeting Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector and a rich man. When Jesus went to Jericho  and passing through, Zacchaeus was trying to see Jesus but he could not see because he was a little man among the crowd. So he ran ahead of the crowd and climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus who was going to pass that way. When Jesus came to that place, he looked up and said to Zacchaeus,"Hurry down, Zacchaeus, because i must stay in your house today."

Zacchaeus hurried down and welcomed Jesus with great joy. all the people who saw it started grumbling, "this man has gone as a guest to a home of a sinner!"

Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Listen sir! I will give half my belongings to the poor, and if i have cheated anyone, i will pay four times as much." Jesus said to him, "Salvation has come to this house today, for this man, also is a descendant of Abraham. The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."

Bible Discussions

Before we go onto our discussions, lets define what is Salvation? Salvation is deliverance from sin and its consequences, believed by Christians to be brought about by faith in Christ. or deliverance from harm, ruin or loss.

Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector and everyone saw him as a sinner. but when Jesus went o Zacchaeus' house, they questioned, why is this very important and Holy man going to that sinner's house as a guest. It is seen that a Holy man going into a Sinner's house. We can see two scenarios here. Zacchaeus had a need to see Jesus to repent and seek salvation from the Lord. Jesus had a mission to bring salvation to everyone which was largely dependent on faith. For those who had faith in Jesus Christ received salvation.

Now the people questioned why Jesus was going as a guest to the sinner's house. In Luke chapter 10 it says that the Son of Man came  to seek and save the lost. In the real world, if you are hungry, you will look for food to eat. if you are sick, you will seek medication for treatment. If you are lost, you seek for assistance in the way out. We are all sinners and we fall short of God's Glory. If we say we have no sin then we a deceiving ourselves. Jesus came to this world to save those who are lost in spirit. He came to deliver us from the prison of sin stan and death. God's Love for us immeasurable.

If we have faith in Jesus christ for salvation everyday then surely salvation will be ours. All we need to do is to seek God's Salvation through prayer and we will be save forever and ever. Amen.

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector

Bible Readings for this Sunday are taken from following scriptures:
* Jeremiah: 14:7-10,19-22
*2 Timothy 4:6-8, 16-18;
*Luke 18:9-15
*Psalm 84:1-7

Please read the other scriptures by yourself. We will go together the scripture reading from the book of Luke chapter 18 verses 9 to 15. We will also read further the verses 16 and 17.

Last Sunday's bible  story regarding was from Luke 18: 1-6  the Parable of the Widow and the Judge. This Sunday's bible reading is also a parable Jesus told his disciples. Jesus told this parable to people who are sure of their own goodness and despise others. Jesus told his disciples that there were two men went to the Temple to pray. One was the Pharisee and the other was a tax collector. The Pharisee prayed and said, "I thank you, God, that I am not greedy, dishonest, or an adulterer like others. I thank you that I am not like the tax collector over there.I fast two days a week, and I give you one tenth of all my income."

The tax collector stood at a distance and would not raise his head to heaven, but beat on his breast and said, 'God have pity on me, a sinner!' Jesus told his disciples that the tax collector and not the Pharisee was in right with God when he went home. For those who make themselves great will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be made great.

While Jesus was telling this parable , some people brought their babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. The disciples saw them and scolded them for doing so but Jesus called the children to him and said, "let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Remember this! Whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it."

Bible Discussion
In our real life situation, when people grow older and accumulate wealth or become welkown in societies, people seem to respect them. And those who gain respect somewhat know that they are a bit higher in the community status. They seem to look down on people. During the historical time it is no exception. During the biblical history, the Pharisees were seen as righteous people. Other ordinary people were seen as sinners. So the Pharisees self  claim that they are righteous. Jesus knew that the disciples will fall into that category so he made it clear that , this practice of claiming to be righteous in the eyes of God is not right. When we look at the prayers of the Pharisee and the tax collector, The Pharisee was boasting about himself thinking that he is okay. But the tax collector humbled himself and he declared that he is a sinner, and he asked for mercy.

As christians of today's day and age, we must always never forget that we are all sinners. In no way we can claim that we are righteous in the eyes of God. We do not have any power to cleanse ourselves from our sins. We will only be made well through the Grace of God. So never ever claim that you are righteous and you will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. It is by the Grace of God we may enter the Kingdom of God if we humble ourselves, declare ourselves as sinners and ask for mercy, forgiveness, and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour and King, then we will surely be made right with God.

Jesus said that, whoever does not receive God's Kingdom like a child will not enter it. Now, this scripture just simply telling us that, we forget the fact that, what status we have in a society, how much knowledge and skills we have in an organisation and you have much recognition. How highly qualified you are in terms of academic, just bring yourself down to a very humble person and be like a child in a church and you will be made right with God.

The Lord be with your spirit.

God's Grace be with you all.

The Parable of the Widow and the Judge

Today's scriptures are taken from the following:
* Genesis 32:22-31
*2 Timothy 3:14-4:5.
* Psalm 121
* Luke 18:1-8

You can read the other bible scriptures on your own. We will now read and discuss the scripture from the book of Luke chapter 18 verses 1 to 8.

Jesus told his disciples a parable to teach them that they should always pray and never become discouraged. Jesus continued by saying that in a certain town, there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected people.  And there was a widow in that same town who kept coming to him and pleading for her rights, saying, help me against my opponents. For a long time the judge refused to act, but at last he said to himself, "Even though I dont fear God or respect people, yet because of all the troubles this widow is giving me, I will see to it that she gets her rights. If I don't she will keep on coming and finally wear me out!"
And the Lord continued, "Listen to what that corrupt judge said, Now, will God not judge in favor of his own people who cry to him day and night for help? Will he be slow to help them? I tell you,he will judge in their favor and do it quickly. But will the Son of Man find faith on earth when he comes?"

Bible Discussion

In this bible scripture  we can see that the widow never gave up and kept on coming to the judge for help. But the Judge did not want to act because he does not fear God and respect people. But because he did not want the widow to keep on coming to him he finally helped her.

In the second paragraph, Jesus explains how God will react upon our requests, cry, plea etc..Jesus ended his statement in a Question form which requires and answer.

The moral of this bible scripture show us that we must never give up on praying. Praying is one way we request for God's attention. Through prayer we can get responses quickly from God. So if we pray day and night for help then surely God will help us in his own timing.

The bible clearly states that God quickly help people who cry to him day and night. But Jesus ends his parable with a question saying that 'Will the Son of Man find faith on earth when he comes?'

This question is up to individuals as a christian to answer. If Jesus comes today,  will he find faith in us? Please ask yourself, am I ready? If Jesus comes today will he find faith in me?

If Jesus come back and finds faith in you, what a joy shall fill your heart.

God's word is True now and forever.

Amen

Jesus Heals Ten Men

This Sunday's scriptures are taken from various Bible verses and are listed below:

* 2 Kings 5:1-3,7-15c
* 2 Timothy 2:8-15
* Luke 17:11-19
* Psalm 111

You can read the other Bible verses by yourself at your own time. For now we will read together the Bible reading from the Good News of Jesus christ written Luke in particular Chapter 17 verses 11 to 19.

The Heading Says: Jesus Heals Ten Men (Luke 17:11-19)

As made his way to Jerusalem, he went along the border between Samaria and Galilee. He was going into a village when he was met by ten men suffering from a dreaded skin disease. They stood at a distance. and shouted, "Jesus! Master! have pity on us!"

Jesus saw them and said to them,"Go and let the priests examine you."
On the way they were made clean. When one of them saw that he was healed, he came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself to the ground at Jesus' feet and thanked him. The man was a Samaritan. Jesus spoke up, "There were ten who were healed; where are the other nine? Why is this foreigner the only one who came back to give thanks to God?" And Jesus said to him, "Get up and go, your faith has made you well."

Bible Discussion

During the previous Sunday we talked about Sin, Faith and Service. We would like to continue with the word faith in today's discussion.

We look at the ten men, their greatest faith was that Jesus would definitely healed their diseases. They knew exactly that if they ask Jesus then he will do something or say something to make them feel better. When they shouted and called  Jesus' name and said, "Jesus! Master! Have pity on us!" Jesus hardly avoid their cry, Jesus hardly ignore their calling because Jesus saw that these ten men had faith in Jesus that he is the only one who can heal their sickness and followed what Jesus said to them. When Jesus told them to go see the priest, they were already healed on their way.

There were ten men but only one man came back and gave thanks to  God. Now, how is this bible story relate in our daily lives today?

In the last Sunday's discussion, Jesus said to his disciples,"If you had faith as big as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, pull yourself up by the roots and plant yourself in the sea! and it would obey you." now let's look at the ten men here, they had faith in Jesus that their sickness will be healed if they ask Jesus. So they did not waste time in asking Jesus and they were healed. This is how faith works. They were healed because they had faith in Jesus. Actually this is one of the miracles that Jesus did to reveal the Power and Glory of God so that other people can see and become witness to all parts of the World.

In our daily lives, when we are sick or when we a in need of help in various ways, or when we are into temptation and fall into sin, we must always know in mind that Jesus Christ ready to hear us say something through faith so that he is merciful and is ever ready to help us. So belief in Jesus Christ that he can help and guide us through in our lives.

Never go astray from Jesus when you got what you wanted in life like the nine men did. When they were healed, they went for good and never came back to say thanks to God. Sometimes, when we are sick, we pray and read Bible and ask for God's forgiveness. but when we are healed, forget about Bible and do not go to Church and go away from God.

To conclude, we must have faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and beg for mercy in times of need and always be under his protection. Always give thanks to the Lord when your prayers are answered.

May the Lord bless His words into our hearts now and forever.

Amen.

Sin, Forgiveness, Faith and Service

Today (Sunday 06/10/2019) is the 17th Pentecost and Proper 22 According to Evangelical Lutheran Church Calendar 2019.

The bible readings for today include the following:

* Habakuk 1:1-4;
*Habakuk 2:1-4
*2 Timothy 1:1-14
*Luke 17:5-10
*Psalm 37:1-9

You can read the other bible texts at your own time. In this article it will read about what says in the Good News written in the book of Luke chapter 17 verses 5 to 10.

The heading reads: Sin. Forgiveness, Faith and Service

Sin, Forgiveness
Jesus said to his disciples,"Things that make people fall into sin are bound to happen, but how terrible for the one who makes that happen! It would be better for him if a large millstone were tied around his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to case one of these little ones to sin. So watch what you do!
If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. if he sins against you seven times in one day, and each time he comes to you saying, I repent, you must forgive him."

Faith
The apostles said to the Lord,"Make our faith greater."
The Lord answer. "If you had faith as big as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, pull yourself up by the roots and plant yourself in the sea! and it would obey you.

A Servant's Duty
Suppose one of you has a servant who is plowing or looking after the sheep. when he comes in from the field, do you call tell him to hurry along and eat his meal? off course not. Instead you say to him, get my supper ready, then put on your apron and wait on me while i eat and drink, after that you may have your meal. the servant does not deserve thanks for obeying orders, does he? It is the same to you, when you have done all you have been told to do, say, we are ordinary servants; we have only done our duty."

Bible Discussion
the bible reading for today in the book of luke chapter 17 verses 1 to 10 tells us that:
1. Sin is will always be part of our lives. We always live with sin. we do commit sin every second of our lives. We do not have any power to avoid sin nor to cleanse ourselves from sin.
2. but if we repent and say sorry and beg for God's forgiveness, He is faithful, merciful and he is ready to forgive us. we only need to go back to God and repent and he will forgive us through the Grace of our Lord Jesus he will cleans us and protect us from all evil things. It is because of the Lord's mercy and Grace we will be saved.
3. Faith is a present given by God to every individuals. Have faith in the Lord that He will guide us and protect us and we can serve him through faith. Be humbled and serve him with a servant heart. You do not need to be recognised in the church for whatever you do. All you do whether in investing in a church project or preaching the gospel through various ministries through Song, Prayer and sharing the word of God, it must always give Glory to the Lord. SO in everything you do in church, do not expect someone to say thank you or appreciate you. You are not doing anything for Pastor or other evangelist etc..

The Lord be with you now and forever Amen.
